The Cayman Drama Society is proud to present its training department. Since September 2016 we offer acting classes for children and adults of all levels, as well as bespoke workshops for corporate training or individual sessions for those with upcoming presentations, auditions or public speaking events. Head of Drama Training

Haidee Elise has over 30 years’ experience across the performing arts, theatre, creative programme management and learning & development. She has taught drama and dance in London, including The College of Northeast London and Stagecoach.
She studied drama at The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in London and has an MBA (Master’s in business administration) from Central Saint Martins (University of the Arts London), where she experimented with drama and creative techniques to enhance business performance and explored the advantages of inclusive and diverse workforces.
Acting credits include Ophelia in Hamlet, Ariel in The Tempest, Regan in King Lear and Lady Macbeth in theatre tours across London, Paris and Boston USA. In addition, Tourvel in Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Marjorie Pinchwife in The Country Wife and Mrs Milcote in Coram Boy. In 2012 Haidee was a performer in the London Olympics opening and closing ceremonies.Haidee has been part of the Artistic Team at The Tower Theatre London for over 15 years, assisting with the successful programming of 19 shows a year. During that time, she was producer on Entertaining Mr Orton at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and produced ‘Edith and Margaritte’ and ‘Shoot The Bugger’ at the London fringe in 2018. Her costume credits include Wolf Hall, The Importance of Being Ernest, Measure for Measure, To Kill A Mockingbird and Hay Fever.
Her professional performing arts career started in 1995, taking her around the world performing at corporate events, theatres and on cruise ships. She was Ginger Spice in the first ever Tribute Band to the Spice Girls, which included supporting headlined acts including Jools Holland, Louise, Kavana, 911 and Alison Limerick. Her television credits include MTV, The Big Breakfast, GMTV, Live TV Pop Quiz, BBC1 documentary, Sky News and ITV. Haidee launched her first co-written EP with Roger Knott in 2018 with Nashville producer Thomm Jutz and continues to work on her own music and learn to play the harp.
Within her corporate career, Haidee regularly presented at conferences and chaired live Q&A sessions, of which one of her highlights was interviewing Sir Lenny Henry in 2017.
