Dr. Singer has a problem. His patient, Miriamy, is pregnant
- with quintuplets - but she is not married. The good
doctor, his wife Stella and his meddling cousin Maude
determine independently to find the father of the quins so
as to spare St. Midas, a small Caribbean island, the infamy
that will go along wither the fame of an unmarried mother of
quins. Add a nosy newspaper reporter and a group of wannabe fathers attracted by the
impending fame, and a delicious twist in the tale, Miriamy
is a classic, timeless West Indian comedy in which we may
see and even laugh at ourselves and our society.
